Hello

Well, not to beat about the bush and all that; I have got the PPC card to
work!!! Yes, I know, it's a miracle!! ;))

Basically the other flash update didn't work; but by starting the
BlizzPPC040Update program from hard disk and not floppy disk, it worked!! I
am so pleased! Thank-you to all those who helped me in anyway what so ever,
and that's sincere.

One problem though.... :(

Though all PowerUp programs work; I want to use WarpOS/WarpUp 4.0. I duly
downloaded it from Aminet; ran the installer. Then I installed the Blizfix
program with:

BPPCFix install 040 reboot

Now the ppc.library is flushed from the system resident list; or whatever.
So in theory; the powerpc.library of WarpUp's should work. Unfortunately;
running say AmigaAMP (the Mp3 player) with WarpOS as the decoder doofery
thing, says it can't open "powerpc.library" - what's wrong??

Also; are there any decent AVI/QT players which run well on a PPC like mine?
(PPC 160MHz (though it is reported as 175MHz?) and full XC68040 25MHz)
Also, it's quite drastic the performance between a 40MHz 68040 and 25MHz
68040 - quite a lot!!! And there's a lot of difference between the ppc and
040/40 as well!!! :))

Thanks ever so much again. Guess this turkey wasn't a turkey...

....was a chicken ;)

All the best,

Nick Lamburn.
